Open Question: Is Denver really better for singles than Colorado Springs?

I will be moving to Denver as soon as I get enough credits to transfer up to CU-Denver and was just wondering if it is indeed a better city for single men such as myself? I am currently living in Colorado Springs and all of the women that I observe here are already taken and / or have families. Everything here seems so family oriented (nothing against families and married folks btw) and not geared towards singles such as myself. Has anyone that may have lived in one or both cities please provide me some insight. I am in a critical point in my life ( I am 27 and am currently attending college later in life because I had to go and waste five years of my life in the Marine Corps at 18 because I had a so-called father who could have cared less about my future) and I really want to meet a nice single gal who has no baggage and settle down.
